Transfer Station
Waste Away Transfer Station is more than a place to dispose of waste — it is an investment in the North Georgia community. Our transfer station provides convenient and reliable waste disposal services for local businesses, contractors, waste haulers, municipalities, and residents while helping support the growth and economic strength of the communities we call home.
By providing a local disposal option, we help businesses and contractors spend less time and fuel traveling long distances to dispose of waste, allowing them to spend more time working and serving their customers.
Waste Away Transfer Station accepts approved general and non-hazardous waste, including household and commercial waste, construction and demolition debris, tree debris, and general business waste.
Our transfer station is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 11:30am. We are closed on Sundays.
For safety and proper disposal requirements, we do not accept tires, liquids of any kind, paint, oil, or other liquid materials. If you are unsure whether the material is accepted, please contact us before arriving.
